Avetik Isahakyan House-museum (Gyumri)
Since 1975, the house-museum of Avetik Isahakyan has been operating in Gyumri, which was the father's house of the poet. In the museum you can see the master's workshop, bedroom, etc.
Despite the fact that the house-museum suffered a lot of damage in the earthquake of 1988, it is currently restored, especially Isahakyan's office, bedroom, pantry, oven and kitchen.
The furniture has not been changed at all. In the museum you can see the master's personal clothes, the ancient desk where he wrote his first work, a wooden baby cradle, the author's favorite coffee-making bowl and many other historically valuable items.
Here you can get acquainted not only with the life of the poet, but also about the life of wealthy people living in Gyumri at the end of the 19th century.
The museum is visited by popular guests who, like other visitors, highly appreciate the museum's specimens and the life story and works of Avetik Isahakyan.
